Small Efforts was founded with a simple conviction — that no act of goodness is too small to matter. What began as a handful of volunteers helping one village in rural Bangladesh has grown into a registered nonprofit serving dozens of districts across the country.
We work on the ground, with real communities, on projects they themselves identify as their greatest needs. Every project is vetted, documented, and reported back to our donors transparently.
To improve quality of life in the most underserved communities of Bangladesh by building essential infrastructure — clean water, sanitation, Islamic education, and dignified facilities — funded through transparent, community-driven giving.
A Bangladesh where every village has access to clean water, every child has a place to learn Deen, and every family lives with basic dignity — regardless of how remote or forgotten their community may be.
Every project we take on falls into one of these categories — chosen because they represent the most critical unmet needs in rural Bangladesh.
Building new madrasahs and Islamic education centres from the ground up in areas where children have no access to religious education.
Constructing clean, permanent ablution facilities at mosques and madrasahs so worshippers can fulfil their religious duties with ease.
Installing submersible pumps and deep tube wells in villages where residents — often women and children — walk hours each day for water.
Building hygienic washroom blocks for schools, madrasahs, and rural communities that currently rely on open fields.
Expanding classroom infrastructure at existing madrasahs that are overcrowded or in disrepair, giving students a proper learning environment.
Organising community programs, awareness drives, and grassroots initiatives that bring people together to support one another.
Providing basic medical support, health camps, and essential facilities in areas with little to no access to healthcare.
Delivering emergency aid, food, and shelter support to families affected by seasonal flooding across Bangladesh.
Rapid response and rebuilding support for communities affected by cyclones, storms, and other natural disasters.
Providing care, education, and essential needs for orphaned children to give them a chance at a better future.
Beyond these, we continue to respond to new and emerging needs identified directly by the communities we serve.
A small, dedicated group of volunteers who believe that consistent small actions build a better Bangladesh.
Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply spread the word — every act of support reaches a real family in Bangladesh.
