Small Efforts was founded with a simple conviction — that no act of goodness is too small to matter. What began as a handful of volunteers helping one village in rural Bangladesh has grown into a registered nonprofit serving dozens of districts across the country.
We work on the ground, with real communities, on projects they themselves identify as their greatest needs. Every project is vetted, documented, and reported back to our donors transparently.

Areas of Focus
Every project we take on falls into one of these categories — chosen because they represent the most critical unmet needs in rural Bangladesh.
Madrasah Establishment
Building new madrasahs and Islamic education centres from the ground up in areas where children have no access to religious education.
Wudukhana Facilities
Constructing clean, permanent ablution facilities at mosques and madrasahs so worshippers can fulfil their religious duties with ease.
Clean Water Access
Installing submersible pumps and deep tube wells in villages where residents — often women and children — walk hours each day for water.
Sanitation & Hygiene
Building hygienic washroom blocks for schools, madrasahs, and rural communities that currently rely on open fields.
Academic Buildings
Expanding classroom infrastructure at existing madrasahs that are overcrowded or in disrepair, giving students a proper learning environment.
Social Activities
Organising community programs, awareness drives, and grassroots initiatives that bring people together to support one another.
Medical Facilities
Providing basic medical support, health camps, and essential facilities in areas with little to no access to healthcare.
Flooded Area Relief
Delivering emergency aid, food, and shelter support to families affected by seasonal flooding across Bangladesh.
